I drizzled this over a simple margherita pizza last night and the heat crept in just enough to wake up the whole bite without hiding the cheese. The kick is more of a warm glow than a burn, which is exactly what I wanted for everyday cooking.
Drizzled this over a simple margherita pizza and the heat crept in gently after each bite, never masking the basil. The pepper flavor is woven through the oil rather than sitting on top, which makes it perfect for finishing pasta too.
It’s surprisingly delicate for a spicy oil—the red pepper sneaks in a warm tingle but never masks the olive’s richness. I’ve been finishing my pizza with a drizzle and it’s become a nightly ritual.
